Skin Rashes after itch, severe Hair Fall
In recent days My wife is suffering from Skin rashes while after itching followed by severe Hair fall. She had Thyroid while pregnancy and now with recent thyroid check it is well in control.
She was prescribed to apply a cream in hair scalp and to intake Vitamin E tablet by a general physician
Other than that she is also applying Vitamin E capsule in her face as per her mom advice to avoid Skin tanning
What would be the reason.. Will it be serious issue.? Whom I have to consult for remedy.. Please Advice

There are many reasons for hair fall. So first and foremost we have to find the cause with the help of detailed history and examination. Some of the common causes are nutritional deficiency, hormonal causes like androgenic alopecia or patterned baldness, hypothyroidism, telogen effluvium etc. Unless we find and treat the cause there is no point in giving non specific treatment. Oils or shampoos do not have any effect on hair growth as they are not absorbed in the skin. Need to the the rashes also.
