Skin itching
My mom certainly undergoing this skin itching on her leg around the ankle day by day it spread around her leg upto her knee .a black patch which irritate her more and she could not tolerate it as she is a teacher she could manage this on her classes and at present this skin itching is very severe.i really need a help for ur side as my mom would recover from that.thanks .

Hi greetings. Well it's tough to say the exact cause of itching without seeing her or without detailed history. What I could suggest is use of a moisturiser daily like emoderm cream - should be applied two to three times daily. Also for the black mark which may be a lichen simplex chronicus - will require treatment with TCS cream. See a dermatologist near you. Hope this helps. Warm regards Dr Govind Suresh Mittal.
