It is just to rejuvenate the skin. A solution is applied on the face and is left for some time(depending on the strength of solution) and then it is washed off.
There are no significant side effects if proper precautions are taken.
Sunprotection has to be followed after the procedure.
There is no downtime.
But if you have deep scars, higher strength peels have to be done and there will be downtime of 5-7 days
