Skin getting darker

Hello, I had an injury on my face by an accident,the wound was totally recovered but skin is getting darker there.last week I visited to a dermatologist,he prescribed me Zilovera moisturizing cream and FD -lite + cream. I'm using these creams regularly,but 10 days past I can not see the result.even the spot is getting more darken.what should I do? Should I keep using these creams or visit to other dermatologist? In how many days result appear?
