Skin changes while pregnant
Hi doc . I’m 8 months pregnant . My face turned dark suddenly.. before pregnancy I used to do lactic peel and microdermabrasion every month , once pregnant I stopped peels .. I’m trying Home packs but nothing is helpful .. everyone who visit me finds huge difference in my skin colour .. please suggest a cream which can be used during pregnancy and continue while breastfeeding as well .

There can be several causes why your skin would turn dark or you may get pigmentation. Sun tan, overweight, pigmentation disorders like acanthosis nigricans or melasma, nutritional deficiency etc are some conditions. Unless someone examines you, we cannot know the cause. Unless we find out the cause it is difficult and pointless to treat. Please call me or send photos with detailed history using online consult option for examination and proper treatment.
