Eosinophilia Eosinophilia is defined as a peripheral blood eosinophil count > 500/μL usually due to an allergic reaction or a parasitic infection or sometimes drug reaction. SX - ask about recent travel (suggesting possible parasite exposure), allergies, medication use.

DX - CBC. Stool Ova and Parasite. CXR.
