Skin allergy
I have serum ige 4653iu/ml. Esr 33, Total leukocyte count 12300 cell/cumm , Platelet count 448 thousand cells/cumm , MPV 7.3 fL , Absolute Eosinophil Count 500 cells/cumm. I am having red dry scaly itchy skin just as shown in the attachment. I had seen a doctor and she told me that this may be flexural psoriasis or subcorneal pustular dermatosis. Kindly help me by telling what kind of allergy is this. Also the doctor asked me to take skin biopsy of the marked region in the attachment. If the skin biopsy is taken,  what type of skin biopsy is done for these lesions ,whether it is punch biopsy or shave biopsy or excisional biopsy?
