Skin Allergy due to scratching

Hi. I've noticed a severe rash in my left hand (maybe due to scratching). I don't know how it occured. It pains slightly when I press the spot. I am using FourDerm ointment for this. Is this ointment sufficient or should I opt for something else? Open for advices. Thanks.
