Is azelastine more effective in clearing mucus compared to Flauticasone alone. Talking about using Nasal spray.
Flauticasone alone can manage allergic symptoms?

Azalastine is an antihistamine. It differs from other antihistamines in that it is nasally administered whereas others are orally administered. The advantage is that there is no sedation as that is a systemic side effect. However, a big disadvantage is that it is viciously bitter! So, patients are unlikely to take it beyond 1st 2 days unless they are very motivated!
This is why I prefer to administer the antihistamine separately rather than giving the combined spray.
