Side effects of laxatives stool softner

Asked for Female, 24 Years

Sometimes i have hard stool which is difficult to pass doc prescribed me mom plus suspension but whenevwr i take it i got loose stool with mucus... If i stop taking it the mucus also stopped... And the consistency of stool also normal Same happen with the other family members so is it normal?

U should try bulking agents like isphagula husk and plenty of water. Laxatives may not suit some patients.
