No questions. Just wanted to thank Dr Narendra Singh, general physician from Nainital. I asked a free question through practo which was a very simple query " alternative of pantoprazole"
So many doctors replied but they dint give the answer rather asked to pay for the consultation to answer a small query. But he is the only one who answred to my query in 3 words. Really grateful for that. Need more doctors like him. I don't understand If I want to pay and consult then why should I go for the free consultation option and why is practo having the free consultation option.

It is not ethical to prescribe or even provide an alternative without knowing history as we don't know for what reason you're being prescribed Pantoprazole. There's not just one condition in which it is prescribed. There are many. If God forbid you develop a side effect due to it, you'll be blaming the doctor only. The doctors here answer your queries for free..review your reports and help you after investing their time in you and your questions. You should be thankful for this Q&A section.
