I have pain in left shoulder and upper arm, especially while raising the hand.

Please  consult a physiotherapist nearby and rule out the cause for pain and start  the therapy as soon as possible .There are many causes for pain such as periarthitis, rotator cuff tear,  impingement  syndrome, any muscle strain, tendinitis etc..
