Good morning Sir/Ma'am,
I'm 23, male, and an active person.
For 1 week now, I've been experiencing pain (about 7/10 in the pain scale) on my left shoulder joint especially when lifting sideways, or just by using force from that area. When at rest, it does not hurt only when I try to use force from that area, it does.
I never did any vigorous activities prior the occurence the pain, but may have something to do with my sleep position or that i stopped lifting weights for 1 week.
Thank you

The fact that you have not been working out for a week and then going back and working could be putting a strain on the shoulders.
Apply a lot of ice as the muscle seems to have become inflamed..And meet a physiotherapist and retrian your shoulder..Once you retrain you can go back to weight training.
