Shoulder dislocation
In the year 2010 while trying to enter into a bus my shoulder was hurt due to the sudden jerk. At that time I was not able to move my shoulder n arms freely,I had restricted movements for few days. Eventually I was able to move my shoulder but when I used to play basketball or volleyball at time I used to get sudden jerk followed by restricted hand movements And this year beginning it happened as well I got an X-ray done. I am attaching the notes of x-ray. It would be really helpful if anyone can help me out with my condition.

Dear Friend Once shoulder gets dislocated in young age of less than 25 years, there are more than 50% chances of second dislocation. However, patient can be treated initially with physiotherapy exercises. If such patients develope second dislocation or more, then it becomes recurrent dislocation. Only treatment for this is surgery. Mostly Arthroscopy surgery is performed to repair torn structures. Bigger open surgery may be necessary when damage is extensive. Delay in surgery causes more and more damage to joint. Better to consult shoulder specialist orthopedic surgeon /Arthroscopy surgeon.
