Yes, your symptoms look like GERD. It can cause breathing issues and throat issues due to acid reflux. Consult a Gastroenterologist or surgeon for further management. Start on Tab Pan D once daily in early morning .

Avoid spicy food, nonveg, deep fries, coffee, smoking and alcohol if any.
Avoid sleep immediately after food.
