Short of breath and cough
Sir im having cough and short of breath for last few months. At night i could not sleep properly. Sometimes i have to take oxygen with my mouth and i feel irritation in throat. Please suggest.

In your age shortness of breath during night usually due to chest problems, may be due to asthma. Consult a chest specialist.

Hi, Most cases of shortness of breath are due to heart or lung conditions. Your heart and lungs are involved in transporting oxygen to your tissues and removing carbon dioxide, and problems with either of these processes affect your breathing.
