Shooting pains in head and vision issues
A few months of shooting pains in right side of head on and off, usually only last a few mins per day. Yesterday they were worse and long along with a headache and when I woke up this morning I have been having vision problems. I can see what is like an arc of TV static in my vision on and off and blurring as on and off. The shooting pains have also returned.

The symptoms you have described seem to be similar to those in Migraine. But you need to consult your Neuro Specialist before a definite diagnosis of Migraine is made. Migraine requires very specific medicines under supervision of Neurologist. In the meanwhile you can take mild anelgesics ( Paracetamol) with some Antacid and rest.
