I used a product called watt and mole remover which was a natural product. It had a cauterizing effect and left a pick wound which i treated with neosporin and bandaides. After it scabbed and it fell off it was white. It slowly turn a pink color and now most is skin color, but a bit lighter. It has been about over 4 weeks and my concern is the shiny appearance. Is this a normal healing process? I’m using Scar Away gel right now. Will it turn back to normal dull skin?

Post inflammatory hypopigmentation
If something too abrasive is used over the skin it tends to loose color from a specific spot because of harm to the melanocytes of that area.
If there is no scar right now you can stop using the gel.
For the color it needs to be seen on how much depigmented it has got.
