Shaving groin area
Is it necessary to shave groin area. Please give useful tips for shaving down there. Does shaving causes any infections???.
I was confused about to shave or not.

Greetings.
This is purely a personal choice. If you wish to shave down ther, you may certainly go ahead. It does have some advantages that there would be lesser microbial colonisation / the area would feel more airy. However, its just a personal choice.
About tips - please use a single blade shaving razer with a guard (to prevent cuts) apply sufficient soap and lather it - which will make the process comfortable. Also after the shave, just clean the area with betadine to prevent infections post shaving. You could also just use a electric trimmer with adequate care to avoid the hassle of shaving.
