Shaking and trembling of hands (palm) .
I'm 18 years old and my hands (palm) are continuously shaking and trembling from a long term now there's always this feeling of nervousness or worry and it gets severe when I'm anxious or overthinking but even when I feel normal it keeps shaking . What do I do? My friend says it's anxiety how do I know what it is exactly? Do I really need to go for counselling or something but my parents won't allow me for that. Even if it's anxiety how can I cure it by myself? Please help me out?

Hii, There are certain techniques you can try by yourself 1. Breathing excersises 2. Guided meditation (You can find on our youtube channel) 3. 2 hrs before sleep phone away 4. Daily exercises 5. Trying self help cbt book for better thinking patterns try this continuously at least for 2 months to see good results. If you feel its severe unmanageable by yourself, talk to your parents let them be aware how you feel. After some efforts they will surely understand. consult professional. Take care Its always better

Hi,You need to undergo a psychological assessment to find out the severity.If you are having severe problems which are impairing your daily functions you need to take medications.Consult a psychiatrist.You need to consult a psychologist for CBT .You have to consult a physician to rule out any medical conditions.

Hi It can be physical as well as mental problem. First you need to consult with a general physician or neurologist. Need to do Physical testing. If everything is normal then you can consult with a Psychiatrist or psychologist.
