Consummation of marriage is much more than a physical exercise and has significant importance in bringing a couple closer in all aspects of being. It has psychological and emotional factors involved plus our underlying beliefs and attitudes related to sex. Besides this, some underlying physical disorder may also hamper with the activity. I suggest that both of you meet a Psychiatrist to get a thorough assessment done, after which he or she will be able to help you with medication and/or psychotherapy. Further delay may cause emotional problems between you as a couple so I suggest you seek help soon.
