Severely burned mouth with hot water
I accidentally took a huge sip of very hot water and got my mouth severely burned. Now my tongue has a lot of white patches and the area below the tongue is also white. What to do to promote healing and manage pain?

How old is the accident ? Burns treatment anywhere on the body, the first-aid is the one which determines the extent of damage. The remaining is slow process. You only have to avoid infection.
Next Steps
Please consult a General Surgeon on Practo.

Avoid spicy and hot food. Apply ice and candid mouth paint 3times a day. And also consult an ent specialist to check the degree of burn and if any secondary bacterial infection is present or not.
