I am having a terrible time with itching especially soon after the bath and at night times. Itching leaves marks on my back and it goes of after a few minutes. Took many medications periodically but with no effects.

Hi. You may be having some form of a physical urticaria. However with a detailed history and examination I would wan't to eliminate any causes for chronic urticaria. Medicines will help temporarily unless we decipher the definite cause for the itch. In general avoiding dryness of skin by regular use of moisturiser will go a long way in reducing itch. Avoid having bath with very hot water.
