Severe Dandruff
I am having a very severe Dandruff problem. . Even after washing my hair its still there and keeps falling like salt and my hairs are falling very much . My forehead is getting wider day by day . Please help me. I have a problem going to dermatologist as i am a sikh boy i can't show my naked head to them. Please help me

Hi. Greetings. Seborrhoea capitis/ seborrhoiec dermatitis or dandruff is a chronic problem. Please note. Avoid using oils on scalp. This acts as food for fungus causing dandruff. You can apply it only at the hair part and not the scalp for short durations if you wish to. Secondly wash hair with antifungal / low strength corticosteroid based shampoos. Use maintenance shampoos regularly. You may need a course of oral antifungals if your condition is severe. Wash your turban regularly, avoid sweat accumulation and avoid wearing it very tight.
