Hi, I am Gastro surgeon Dr. Satish Devakumar, Stools thick and hard indicate very less water content in stool. 1. Kindly take plenty of water ( atleast 4 litre water /day). 2. Consume high- fibre diet such as green leafy vegetables,  fruits. 3. Exercise regularly.  Atleast 30 mins of brisk walking daily. 4. If still continue to have constipation,  try laxatives.
