Severe BACKPAIN
Sir my father is working in government sector and he travels a lot currently he is suffering from BACKPAIN and we consulted ortho. After checking MRI report doctor said there is D vitamin deficiency.My question is that can any one get BACKPAIN due to D-vitamin deficiency if so what we should do to control it.

Vitamin D is important for calcium to get deposited in bones. Bones get weak with low calcium,so pain. I hope your orthopaedician has already advised vitamin D course,take it.

1.Arachitol Nano 60 k ( or Calcirol) once weekly. 2.Tab Calcimax 500 mg once daily. 3.Sun Exposure for 20 MINUTES daily. 4.Eat Fish ( if you are non vegetarian). 5.FORTIFIED Cereals. 6.Cod Liver oil. 7. Tab Zerodol-TH twice daily for 5 days to control all the pains Yes, it can cause pain.

Hello. Vitamin D deficiency can cause any bone pain, including back pain. Serum vitamin D level should be checked. It can be treated with once weekly regimen of tablets or vitamin d injection. Hope this helps
