Sever upper rib pain
I have had a cough for over a month..was told it's viral. The cough is very deep and hard. I also blow my nose very hard. I have had this constant pain In my rib by my armpit on my right side. Started this morning. There is nothing that I do that it doesn't hurt, it's constant. Now when I cough it feels like I'm being stabbed right where the rib that hurts is. Pulled muscle? Broken rib? Anything I can to do releave the pain? Kinesio tape?

your rib pain is due to coughing too much. when u cough too much your rib muscles get stressed and leads to chest pains in areas where its stressed most while coughing. your cough is mostly allergic. try dry cough syrup and antihistamine medications.
Next Steps
if u dont improve with the above instructions please consult a physician u will need antibiotics.
