Are the fish codliver oil tablets actually beneficial for the eyes - as claimed by these companies? If yes, what should be the dosage? And it is said that milk should not be consumed before or after having these tablets as they are made from fish oil. Is it so?

These tablets are beneficial in patients who are deficient in vitamin A.
Vitamin A deficiency is manifested as night blindness etc
In normal patient it is not beneficial
