Serum Insulin levels
I'm 39, M,. My fasting serum insulin level was 9 45days back. I followed diet low in carbs , did fasting and exercised regularly and vigorously. I lost 3 kgs and say 2 inch from waistline. Today I measured my blood sugar levels which are a bit high. Have I reversed insulin resistance and these moderately high sugar levels are they sign of low insulin levels.

Insulin levels are not reliable and are not advised routinely. If sugar levels are going high despite diet and lifestyle you should start medicines after consulting a Diabetologist. And yes diabetic patients do have insulin deficiency as well
