Serum ferritin is not specific marker. It can be elevated in so many conditions. If patient is symptamatic in the form of increased breathlessness then hemophagocytosis to be ruled out(ferritin will be elevated in that situation. Based on only elevated ferritin we can't treat the patient. Should find out the underlying cause. If possible can u send all investigation. If hemophagocytosis means need additional investigions
