Serum B HCG level < 1.0 mIU/ml

Thanks for your response. Yesterday we had gone through HCG blood test and the result was < 1.0 mIU/ml. Is this good enough to consider there is no pregnency. Kindly let us know if we need to take scan to confirm.
Should we need to consult a doctor to find the cause of delaying periods. (delayed by 16 days).
pls help.
