Septoplasty is unlikely to improve ET Dysfunction as ET opening is in the lateral wall of nasopharynx. Septoplasty is done for a symptomatic DNS; I.e., Only if you have nasal obstruction. Do you feel a blocked sensation in your right ear as well..? Start Nasal spray Flomist( Fluticasone Furoate) 2 puffs at night in each nostril and continue for 15 days. Take the spray with your head leaning forward. Try masking your tinnitus with the sound of fan or some light music of same amplitude(volume). Do not try to search for the sound. At present do not take any medications for Tinnitus.
