Screams and cries in mid night
My 3 and half years old son has been screaming,crying and hiting everyone in night around 3:30 am for the last three days.he is uncontrollable during that time and hits us when we come near him.he doesn't remember when we ask him in the morning.what should we do?I am really worried about him

These are called night terrors,a form of sleep walking.
Remember,he's ASLEEP at the time,do NOT try to wake him,just hold him gently and try to get him back to sleep.
This is a benign,although frightening thing to witness,but let me repeat,it's NOT dangerous and goes away by itself with growing age.
Just ensure that he doesn't fall or harm himself.
No medicine is usually indicated.
