No fasting needed for MRI lS spine but if it is contrast enhanced MRI then blood investigations needed.
In some centres prior appointment is needed.
Usually it is for 45- 60 minutes. If you pain and unable to sleep then it'll take more time.

No fasting needed....prior appointment needed in some centers...nothing like do's and Don'ts....if you are claustrophobic then procedure will be done under anesthesia then you need atleast 5-6 hours of fasting.....
