Schmorl node with mild.adjacent edema
Hello Doctor, I have been suffering from lower back pain (hip region, more pain on the left side) for the last 5-6 months. I was advised to go for the CT scan Abdomen and MRI DorsoLumbar spine screening to further evaluate this. I have got the reports now. The CT scan Abdomen is all clean, no abnormalities have been reported. For the MRI scan, the below are the observations that's in the report: 1. Schmorl node with mild adjacent edema in the superior endplate of D10 vertebra. 2. No significant disc abnormality detected. What does MRI report actually mean and what should be my action plan to fully recovered from my back pain.
