Hi, Schizophrenia is a chronic (long) term disorder with medications person can be managed well but still they can still have fluctuating symptoms occasionally. Along with medications. psychotherapy will help them better

Hi Schizophrenia is a mental disorder which requires medications for a long period of time and in some people it may be lifelong. About 25% of the people with schizophrenia can get cured and about half of them have control with medication. Regular follow up with a psychiatrist is essential for good prognosis.
