My relatives suffers from schizophrenia and paranoia refuses to take medications now even though he has episodes.
He has had multiple episodes before but didn't have it for past 20 years. In 2018 on consultation with a psychiatrist we stopped the medication. After the lockdown he has started having episodes continuously. He is in own world.
We gave alkepin odt in food, but he refuses to have food at home too.
We are at loss what to do. He is 100 percent able to do all daily things, we only notice it when mentions weird things. Without his medication, he is getting aggressive day by day. He finds out if we give medicine as early morning he feels sluggish and pain in muscles.
How can I Convince him to come to doctor? Or should I call the doctor home, I am afraid how he might react.
What can I do in this case?
