A lack of desire to work is not an illness, but a symptom of an illness. A detailed evaluation is required to diagnose the illness and treat it. Treatment does mostly include medicines such as antidepressants and mood stablisers. But for you a few sessions of therapy will also be beneficial.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychiatrist and ask them for a multimodal approach to management - including medicines and therapy both.
