Talk to experienced psychiatrist online and get your health questions answered in just 5 minutes.
Try to make her do some physical exercises or involve her in some physical activities... and if it’s just the start of medicines then plz also start with the suggestions and see how things goes.
Sizodon plus comes in a combination of 3mg of risperidone +2mg of trihexyphenidyl.
Sizodon and Ativan both can have sedative properties. If she is sleeping excessively, she may reduce the dose of Ativan to half but do not alter the dose of Sizodon by self.
Also what is the level of her schizophrenic symptoms? Is she able to take care of self and her kids? We might need to adjust the dose to make her as functional and independent as possible.
Sizodon plus and ativan both are having sedation property. Combination may not be tolerable in some cases. So I would like to advice you to give half the dose of ativan 1mg
Hi,
Can u tell me since when she has the symptoms and what are the presenting symptoms. Also sizodon plus doesn't come as 5mg.
Initially it will take sometime to adjust medicines because of which she might be having excess sleep. Gradually she will get better. Dnt worry. If she continues to have symptoms after 1week, you contact me
This is initial side effects of med which will go. Psychoeducation is must.
