Scar can't be always corrected with lasers and there is quite a limitations.
Scar treatment depends on size, location ,shape and most difficult to treat is facial scars. Treatment can be in combination of scar revision,lasers, fat grafting/fillers in combination.
Be careful in choosing your doctor as wrong diagnosis and understanding of scar can lead to disappointment .

Yes with recent advancements like co2 lasers and other resurfacing treatments most scars have become treatable ...visit a dermatologist to know about options suitable for you.
