Greetings. Scabies is a condition caused by a mite which lives in the upper skin layers, more so in the areas of the body folds. It's important to treat with oral and lotion treatment over a regimen prescribed by a qualified dermatologist. Make sure all your close contacts/ family members/ room mates are also treated. All you clothing and bedding must be washed n ironed. If u follow all measures, you should be rid of the infection by two to three weeks. See a qualified dermatologist near you.
