Same smell in eveything.

Question

Asked for Male, 25 Years

This happens to me every year. I feel a smell, cant explain how it is but it is neither pleasant nor dirty. I can smell that in every place and in everything like in rose flower,sweat,urine,potty, even in washroom. I got annoyed and went to perfumes shop and had tested with 20 scent bottles but no smell except that 1 smell. What may be the problem ?

Hi there. This is Dr Satya Kiran ENT Surgeon from Hyderabad. The condition ur suffering from is parosmia. It needs proper evaluation of local (nose) and systemic examination for common conditions listed >20 Might require nasal endoscopy & CT pns for evaluation. Steroid nasal spray might b helpful. However ENT consultation would be better.
