What does salmonella typhi th = 240 mean? I hv salmonella typhi to = 60 .does it mean 1:40 ratio? Have very very high fever

This is a screening test for Typhoid. Positive means get yourself tested for Typhidot IGM. if that's also positive , than you need medicines immediately for Typhoid. All the best

You have done blood Widal test . It measures antibodies against salmonella. You have to have fever for at least 5 days to have a significant titre. It has to be done in a NABL ACCREDITATION lab. You can repeat the test in a good lab to see you have a rising titre. This is for your information only. Consult your Family Physician.

Widal is not a reliable diagnostic test.but you are saying very high high fever .so you need precaution
