Rtpcr test positive even after no sympto
Hey, I was diagnosed with covid on 26nd april when I got mine rtpcr test report where ct value was 26, I have observed no symptoms now since last week, so I went ahead and did rtpcr test again ( dated 17 may) In the second test, my ct value went down to 19, I m confused what to do My question is : How come the ct score went low than earlier ? If I m having no symptoms,  the ct score would have gone up, Right ? Please clear the doubt How long should I wait to get rtpcr test again ?

RTPCR is more reliable. If your results are positive then take precautions for 14 days. A repeat pcr may not be reliable as sometimes they remain positive for 2-3 months post-Covid.

Ct score lower than previous it is a point of concern bcoz viral load has increased from last time. You should start with vitamin c and zinc tablets, proper rest and sleep and also drink more water. Monitor spo2, bp and pulse.
