RO Membrane safe
Commonly used RO membranes are typically composed by a thin film composite membrane consisting of three layers: a polyester support web, a microporous polysulfone interlayer and an ultra think polyamide barrier layer on the top surface. Thin film composite membranes are packed in a spiral wound configuration. Water crosses through above with high pressure. Then it goes to sediment filter then carbon and UV. Is it safe ? I don't know why you are asking this question. This question has never crossed my mind because I know that I can do nothing about the working of RO Filter. If I also had doubts about RO Filter (like you have) ,  I would have gone for some different methods of water purification.
