Risk of getting HIV
Respected Sir,
On 12.08.2019 I went to dentist for braces. I was first patient in clinic at 9:45 am. Dentist done scaling on my gums but she does not changed the scaling tip. Scaling tip was already attached to extension this means scaling tip was not sterilized after using person at 9:00pm on 11/08.2019 because clinic closes at 9:00 pm. My question is if suppose scaling tip was used on HIV patient at night 9.00 pm and same non-sterilised scaling tip is used on me at morning 10.00 am will I get infection of HIV from this negligence act of dentist?

nice question if not sterilised properly u definitely carry chance of getting any blood borne infection like hiv.
first confirm that dentist used sterilised tip or not.
