Risk of down syndrom
We did NT scan of my wife on 12 weeks of menstrual age there, doctors told some risk of down syndrome. And suggested us to do NIPT test. We gave the sample but DNA test was failed and they collected blood again. We are in very tension, plz help. Below is the result of NT scan. Aneuploidy markers: Nasal bone - seen Nuchal translucency - 2.8 mm Ductus venosus - normal flow Tricuspid regurgitation - absent Fetus survey: Placenta - anterior Liquor - adequate Umbilical cord - two arteries and one vein Fetal activity present Cardiac activity present Fetal heart rate - 168 bpm Single live intravenous Cervix measure 3.6 cm Patient age 38.3 years

Whats double marker report? She maybe showing high risk for trisomy because of her age. If NIPT fails, go for amniocentesis at 16 weeks
