Risk of blood clots on birth control
I am an 18 year old female, 5'4", 190 lb. I started taking the birth control Pill six days ago. I smoke between 2 and 6 cigarettes every day and will be flying next week (there are two flights, each one lasting 2.5 hours). I was wondering about how I can decrease my risk of developing blood clots ASIDE FROM quitting smoking. Should I take baby aspirin?
