You may be suffering from tinea cruris which is fungal infection of the inner thighs, groin and buttocks area. It is also called jock itch. It can be treated by taking four to six weeks of anti fungal treatment which includes tablets along with creams. Do not use soap over that area. Mistreatment with over the counter Steroid containing creams like fourderm, panderm, quadriderm, dermi5, candid b etc lead to repeated case of recurrence and also side effects due to application. Do not use steroid containing combination creams. Please call me or contact me using online consult option with photos for detailed prescription. Do not delay treatment as it may spread further on your body and also to other people living in the household.

You are suffering from fungal infection which occurs due to moisture retention in skin folds and spreads to other areas or to other people due to direct touch. Dermi 5 cream is a steroid based cream and not at all recommended for fungal infections. There are many such creams in market which when applied make fungal infection difficult to cure. If you really want to get read of it then stop all medicines and visit a qualified dermatologists (Always check the degree of your doctor and stay away from quacks who potray themselves as skin specialists)
Next Steps
NEVER use OTC products or medicines given by pharmacists. If they would have understood your problems and able to treat, there was no need of doctors in this world.
