Ringing of sound in my right ear

Asked for Male, 21 Years

I have been having a ringing sound in my right ear from previous one year . I consult a doctor ,the medicine reduces the frequency of sound but this diwali the loudness of the again increases. I search this problem online where i find that it is tinnitus . This noice is frustrating . Please help me to cure this problem.

Hi i m a senior Audiologist. Yes you are right. It is tinnitus. Apart from medication you need to go for tinnitus identification and loudness matching and based upon result you will have to go for sound therapy. Tinnitus is frustrating and my suggestion to you is; go n get it checked n start working towards its management before its too late. The older the problem more time it takes to get cure.
